This photo shows Susanne, Renée, her mother, and Herbert Schneider around 1930. The family lived in Vienna, Austria until just before the war. Susanne went to England where she was an au pair for a little boy Joschi Nishikava. Later she was reunited with her parents and brother, Herb, in New York City.
Susanne graduated from Columbia University as a baby nurse, a profession she loved.. She became a registered nurse in 1947 and enjoyed working at The Presbyterian Hospital in Manhatten, NY until she retired. This photo shows Susanne and her good friend Mitzi, enjoying a moment on May 21, 1965.
Susanne married Bruno Aldor in 1958 . Su and Bruno raised Tommy and John, two boys from Bruno's previous marriage. In September of 1988 with several of her friends from the nursing community, she moved to Foulkeways Retirement Community.
