A hundred dwellings « friendly towards the environment » organized by the Dutch Ministry of Housing had to follow strict environmental regulations. We were asked to coordinate a group of nine competent architects to organize their installation on the site. Without inhabitants, we organized a puzzle for which every piece is different and friendly. No geometrical rules were applied to the configuration of the whole and no numb elements were repeated in an inert way. The neighbourhood became a moldable and sensitive substance without visible center (dense knots will slowly grow by themselves) : a carefully dislocated form, a mosaic of actions in an apparently accidental juxtaposition.
