A remodeling program of a block
centrally located in Amsterdam. We incorporated
facilities for a very diverse public : ambulatory
and long term psychiatric care, the extension of
a heighbouring school and housign.
To apply the consequences of the program drawn up
by specialists we invited everybody concerned to
join in our creative groups : administrative managers
and their staff, specialized psychiatrists, the
school director, patient representatives, the chief
of police, inhabitants and neighbours.
In a couple of meetings we established a series
of motivated interventions on the site and we slowly
distilled the shape of the project out of them.
This temporary project was again submitted to the
group for corrections and further precising.
